AIICT (RTO 51681) and Lumify Learn (RTO 45994) are separate training organisations owned by the same parent company, EdventureCo, which also owns Everthought Education, an existing RTO. AIICT was originally set up to successfully offer ICT qualifications. Now that Lumify Group has been approved to operate its own RTO, Lumify Learn has been launched as a brand-new company within the Lumify Group. AIICT will remain a part of Everthought College of Construction, while Lumify Learn RTO Number 45994 is a new RTO registered under the Lumify Group.

AIICT will not be accepting new enrolments. All courses currently offered by AIICT will be offered by Lumify Learn. All accredited students currently enrolled will be given a choice to transfer their studies to Lumify Learn or complete the remainder of their course under the AIICT brand.  Bootcamp students will continue their studies through to completion.

Lumify comes from the verb {lu-mi-fy}, which means to ‘illuminate and enlighten through learning’ -with ‘Lum’ meaning bright and clear, and ‘Ify’ meaning to cause to become.

The new structure has Lumify Group as the overarching brand, with Lumify Learn, Lumify Work and Lumify People replacing the former individual brands. A new logo also brings it all together with a strong visual identity, designed to be easily recognised. Nexacu will continue to operate as Nexacu, Powered by Lumify.

We will continue to trade as DDLS Australia Pty Limited; however, we’ll have new trading names of Lumify Work, Lumify People and Lumify Group. Lumify Learn has been set up as a standalone company, Lumify Learn Pty Limited.

Lumify People utilises 20 years of experience to provide its clients with expert strategic and advisory services; customised learning and development to meet all needs; logistics and supply chain expertise; and program and project management services covering budgets and communications to risk management.

At Lumify Learn, we know that there is more than one way to gain industry-relevant skills; whether that includes previous study or previous work experience. That’s why we offer several ways to recognise this experience, to help you fast-track your studies, and get you into your dream job faster.

The Federal Government has developed a system called the Unique Student Identifier (USI) to help Australian students' gain access to their results when they complete a nationally recognised course, or part thereof. The USI is generated online, does not cost anything and will be recorded whenever you enrol in a nationally recognised VET course.

We have a mix of both nationally recognised courses and globally recognised vendor certifications. Nationally recognised qualifications can be identified with the Nationally Recognised Training logo. The Vendor Certifications will show the vendor name eg. Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA

All of our courses require students to be 17 years or older and have adequate language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course. Beyond minimum entry requirements, it’s important that this is the right course for you. Speak with one of our Course Advisors to ensure this course delivers the learning experience and outcome you are looking for. We call this our “right course, right fit” policy.

Online study is a lot like regular study, just without the face-to-face element.

Much like regular study, you will still have a trainer. Your trainer is a professional in their field and will use their industry skills and experience to help you navigate through your course and add context to your studies. Despite not being face-to-face, you are still able to set up a regular time to meet with your trainer via Skype or email or SMS.

You will have 24/7 access to an interactive, secure e-Learning platform called StudySpot. StudySpot is where you will be able to view your webinars, access your learning materials, contribute to discussion forums and submit your assessments. You will also have unlimited access to a wide repository of learning materials through LinkedIn Learning and Microsoft Learning Academy to support your studies.

The length of course will change per course and depending on the number of dedicated hours you set aside each week. For our nationally recognised Diplomas we recommend that you set aside 20 hours per week for your studies; this includes course work, trainer support time and assessments. However, these timeframes may vary depending on individual experience. The total length of our Diplomas is 18 months and the length of our Certificates is 12 months.

Our Certified Cyber Security Professional can be completed in 6 months with 15 hours of dedicated study each week, while our Certified Data Science Professional), can be completed in 6 months with 16-20 hours per week of study. You have up to 12 months access to complete our non-accredited courses.

If you meet the entry requirements to study a course, you can complete your enrolment in 3 simple stages.

Stage One: Register your interest for a course. If you request more information, you will receive a phone call from one of our course advisors. If you have selected 'Secure your seat' you can then move onto your online enrolment.

Stage Two: You will need to complete a Student Enrolment Agreement, a Pre Enrolment Profile, and a Capability Quiz, as well as provide any supporting documentation and identification to validate your application.

Stage Three: You will complete a Kick Start Workshop to get started in the course. If all your documentation is in order you will then be enrolled and ready to start studying!

If students prefer to remain with the AIICT/ Everthought College of Construction brand for the duration of their course, they may do so as well. Students will have to notify Lumify Learn of their decision either way.

This depends on whether students elect to transfer their course to Lumify Learn. If the students are switching to Lumify Learn, their final certificate will say “Lumify Learn.” If students wish to remain with the AIICT/ Everthought College of Construction brand, this name will be displayed on their final certificate instead.

Yes. Pricing has been reviewed as part of our annual pricing review process. However, for students undertaking nationally accredited qualifications that transition from AIICT to Lumify Learn, Lumify Learn will honour the course pricing from their original enrolment with AIICT.

Students will be asked to complete their enrolment via a link and restart any payment plan arrangements with Lumify Learn (for outstanding balances only). Students will also be given the option to pay out their remaining course balance before starting with Lumify Learn.

When a student agrees to transition to Lumify Learn, part of the transition agreement includes permission for AIICT to provide Lumify Learn with your academic record/statement of attainment and you will be provided with credit transfer for those units of competency in the new learner management system. If you have completed some but not all assessments in a unit of competency, it is recommended that you complete in progress units through AIICT prior to transition to Lumify Learn.

Once a student has transferred to Lumify Learn, students will communicate with their same trainer as they did before. Students and trainers will have new email addresses. These will be provided after the student has enrolled with Lumify Learn.

We have meticulously planned and prepared for student transfer to minimise any potential downtime. As per our careful preparations, we do not anticipate any significant disruptions or interruptions to the system. However, in the unlikely event of any required downtime, it will be kept to a minimum duration. Rest assured; we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition with minimal impact on your operations.

There are no additional course costs or fees that will be applied for the transition from AIICT to Lumify Learn.
