Backed by the leadership of DDLS, AIICT boasts a dedicated team of passionate and experienced industry professionals who are focused on equipping students with the knowledge and skills to excel in their IT careers.
Jon is CEO of DDLS and brings with him extensive experience at the executive level. Jon is tasked with supporting the AIICT team to drive towards an innovative and successful future.
Before joining DDLS, Jon’s roles have included CEO at Upskilled and finance roles at Crowe Horwath and UBS. During his eight-year stint with Upskilled, the business grew to be one of the largest fee-for-service RTOs in Australia with over 20,000 students trained.
Jon is a regular speaker at educational conferences on topics such as growing education businesses through the development of unique partnership models. Jon has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Corporations Law. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
As General Manager of AIICT, Sally leads the team in its efforts to provide quality, flexible and in-demand training courses to meet the needs of a constantly evolving market. She is a passionate advocate for individuals to take control of their careers and increase their skills to improve job security, career opportunities and lifestyle.
Sally has worked across various IT and training organisations prior to joining AIICT, including roles at Telstra and BES IT Systems. She also worked at Upskilled where her roles included Education Manager and Corporate Education Manager.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Business in Management and Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology.
Shanil has nearly two decades of experience as a project and training manager in the IT industry. He embodies a unique approach to vocational education and training and the development of teaching methods and practices, enhancing the long-term sustainability of the AIICT VET Program, along with establishing links to community stakeholders and the broader industry.
Prior to joining AIICT, Shanil spent six years as the National Faculty Manager with ACTE Group, leading multiple projects from inception to completion and continually delivering high-quality learning, training and assessment services throughout Australia. He encouraged and led various collaborative partnerships nationally, planned, developed and executed training strategies across diverse projects, and enhanced the overall resources, faculty expansion recruitment and internal needs analysis of the faculty.
As the Project Manager with the National Training & Productivity Centre of Fiji National University, Shanil was actively involved in managing the Information Technology course affiliation with Western Sydney Institute.
Shanil has completed a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Southern Cross University, along with educational qualifications and further professional training certifications.
Michael is tasked with growing the AIICT brand, and developing and implementing the Strategic Marketing Plan. He is the driving force behind the student journey and is passionate about using technology to its full potential to drive business efficiencies, growth and to improve the student experience.
Prior to joining AIICT, Michael was the General Manager, Marketing and Business Development at Upskilled, one of Australia’s leading VET Providers. During his 8 years tenure at Upskilled, Michael was responsible for developing an industry leading marketing and sales engine, and was an integral member of the senior leadership team as Upskilled became one of the largest RTOs in Australia. Prior to this, Michael led the domestic marketing efforts at Study Group (Career Education Division) with stewardship of the Martin College, ACPE and AIAS brands. Michael also held senior marketing positions at The University of Sydney.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Wollongong, and a Master of Business (Marketing) from the University of Sydney.
Aline’s career in IT has taken her around Asia Pacific, working with organisations to implement projects, upgrade technology and migrate data centres. She started her career in technical support, and has successfully progressed through project implementation, infrastructure solution design, to leading technical architecture teams.
Aline has acquired a range of technical skills over the years that she now uses to train the next generation of IT professionals. A key part of her teaching is to stress the importance of not only technical skills, but also the soft skills required to become a key player in the modern organisation.
Aline holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Technology Sydney and many industry certifications that she keeps current and updated in an ever-changing technology industry.
Luci has a keen eye for detail and uses data to make informed decisions that create solutions for complex problems. Her analytical skills enable her to derive useful insights to optimise business performance.
As a problem solver with superb communication and problem solving skills, Luci helps guide her team to create robust and practical solutions to build innovative digital products.
Luci has almost 10 years of experience in a range of roles from procurement to management. She graduated from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, achieving her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA, Business).
