Jon Lang – CEO, DDLS
Jon is an accomplished leader with a strong passion for education and a drive for building successful and sustainable businesses. Jon is CEO of DDLS and brings with him extensive experience at the executive level. Jon is tasked with supporting the AIICT team to drive towards an innovative and successful future.
Before joining DDLS, Jon’s roles have included CEO at Upskilled and finance roles at Crowe Horwath and UBS. During his eight-year stint with Upskilled, the business grew to be one of the largest fee-for-service RTOs in Australia with over 20,000 students trained.
Jon is a regular speaker at educational conferences on topics such as growing education businesses through the development of unique partnership models. Jon has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Corporations Law. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Sally McDonough – General Manager
Sally is passionate about her academic journey and what she can do with it.
She has over ten years of experience in the Australian Education Industry, both
government and corporate and helping individuals reach their career goals.
A dedicated academic and enthusiast, she prioritizes the impact that she can give to various individuals, businesses, and the economy. Sally is excited about an increasing number of individuals taking control of their careers and upskilling to take on new responsibilities, or move into new fields, and to improve their job security, career opportunities and lifestyle – especially in the current environment.
Being the General Managers at AIICT, her focus is to lead and support her team to continuously provide quality, flexible, and in demand training courses to meet the needs of the ever-changing market. Sally is an excellent team member and a huge asset to AIICT as she ensures her team’s success.
Shanil Sharma – Training Manager
Shanil is a highly successful leader with strong business acumen and has the demonstrated ability to deliver unparalleled service in relation to Training and Project Management. With a plethora of in-depth experience within the Information Technology Industry, Shanil has been operating as a Project/Training Manager and embodying a unique approach to vocational education and training for almost two decades. Shanil offers modern leadership in the development of teaching methods and practices, effectively enhancing the long-term sustainability of the AIICT VET Program along with establishing links to both community stakeholders and the broader industry.
Shanil spent six years as the National Faculty Manager with ACTE Group, leading multiple projects from inception to completion, continually delivering high-quality learning, and providing training and assessment services throughout Australia. Shanil encouraged and led various collaborative partnerships nationally, planned, developed and executed Training Strategies across diverse projects, and enhanced the overall resources, faculty expansion recruitment and internal needs analysis of the faculty. As the Project Manager with the National Training & Productivity Centre of Fiji National University, Shanil was actively involved in managing the Information Technology courses affiliation with Western Sydney Institute. Along with his educational qualifications and further professional training certifications, Shanil has completed a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Southern Cross University.
Michael Crump – Marketing and Recruitment Manager
Michael is an accomplished and result orientated Senior Marketing Executive with extensive experience in the Education and Training sectors. Michael is tasked with developing the AIICT brand, developing and implementing the Strategic Marketing Plan and is the driving force behind the student journey. Michael is passionate about using technology to its fullest potential to drive business efficiencies, growth and to improve the customer experience.
Prior to joining AIICT, Michael was the General Manager, Marketing and Business Development at Upskilled, one of Australia’s leading VET Providers. During his 8 years tenure at Upskilled, Michael was responsible for developing an industry leading Marketing and Sales engine and was an integral member of their senior leadership, assisting them in becoming one of the largest RTO’s in Australia. Prior to this Michael led the Domestic Marketing efforts at Study Group (career education division) with stewardship of the Martin College, ACPE and AIAS brands. Michael also held Senior Marketing positions at The University of Sydney.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Wollongong, and a Master of Business (Marketing) from the University of Sydney.
Aline Kokotovic – Lead trainer
Aline is an enthusiastic vocation trainer ready to share real world knowledge accumulated during her 20 years’ experience working in IT.
Aline’s career in IT has taken her around Asia Pacific, working with organizations to implement projects, upgrade technology and migrate data centers. She has started her career in technical support, and has successfully progressed through project implementation, infrastructure solution design, to leading technical architecture teams.
The technical skills she has acquired over the years are now used to train the new generation of IT professionals. A key part of her teaching is to stress the importance of not only the technical skills but also the soft skills required to become a key player in the modern organization.
Aline holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Technology Sydney and many industry certifications that she keeps current and updated in an ever-changing technology industry.
