Lumify Learn launches Academic Accelerator program to ‘bridge Australia’s digital skills’ gap

IT education provider Lumify Learn has announced the launch of its Academic Accelerator program designed to bridge Australia’s digital skill shortage by forming more “employment-ready” IT professionals.

According to Lumify Learn, the program's flexibility, affordability and global recognition disrupt the traditional approach to higher education in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), “providing more students the opportunity to learn the right balance of foundational IT skills and the specific vendor-certified competencies Australia is missing”.

“Nearly 70% of Australian IT jobs are in shortage, costing the Australian economy $3.1 billion annually. But in 2023, Government studies revealed Australian IT university graduates to be the least employable out of 10 sectors surveyed.
