ICT project managers are in charge of planning, organising, and coordinating ICT-related projects. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of meeting project goals; such as resourcing, scheduling, and task prioritisation.
The typical duties of an ICT project manager include developing ICT strategies, plans, and policies; specifying and providing technology to meed project needs; providing user training of ICT resources, and ensuring the security of ICT systems.
ICT managers can expect strong growth in the coming years, from 58,800 workers in 2018 to 67,000 by 2023.
